A New Normal...Again.

We made it a week!  Carl and I have successfully made it a week as full time parents to our little deluxe version of a newborn.  We've had some visitors and doctors appointments and so far we are doing well.  

Brian has been loving being home.  No more poking and prodding and a lot more snuggling! He's enjoyed meeting his new girlfriend, Juliet.  And bath time is a big hit around here.  Here is our week in pictures.  Those are way more fun anyways.  :)

 We attempted to do a little photo shoot with our little man.  We went to our friend's house where she has this whole little baby studio set up.  It worked pretty well!  Carl and I are still learning the whole photo shop/editing process, but we'll get there eventually.  A behind the scenes secret - I'm hiding underneath the black sheet. :)  

Hope everyone has had a good week.  Enjoy the new blog.  It's way more upbeat than a CaringBridge page.  Thanks again to everyone who has brought a meal, sent a card/text, etc.  It is so appreciated.  Carl and I are starting to settle in and all the support sure makes it easier.
