Labor Day at the Lake, Craft Show and everything in between.

I've been a blog slacker.

Since the last update we've been back and forth to Michigan twice.  We had birthdays, doctors appointments, craft shows, family pictures and some down time at home.  Brian's been a rockstar through all of it.  He's our best little buddy and a great traveler (minus those couple times when he's thrown up in the car seat and the entire thing need to be striped down and sanitized.  Twice. :)

Brian and Charlotte enjoying their cupcakes. Brian needed a nap and Charlotte wasn't too sure about getting dirty.  It was more fun for the adults then the birthday babies!

My dad gave Brian some licks of his ice cream bar.  Brian had a new favorite person for the night.

Brian and I go for a walk down the local trail by our house every day we can.  It's an old train track that's been converted.  We love it!  It's a nice break for me and Brian usually takes his afternoon naps.  Walking here in the fall is just beautiful!

My boys at Costco.  Brian's in the "grab everything you see" stage.  It's so fun!  But we need to guard our beers a bit closer now.

These two love each other!

My friend Renae came to visit us in Peoria!  We went to the park in our neighborhood and put Brian in the swing.  He loved it this time!  We also attempted a selfie, little boy wasn't too interested.

It is very difficult to get a good picture of two 1 year olds!!  I have no idea how people do it.

These babies love their Grandma!

Brian and I were in Michigan for a full week to get ready for our craft show.  Rachel and I had been working on this for a long time!!  It went really well for our first craft show ever.  We made back everything we put in but were probably working for quarters an hour.  There is a learning curve, that is for sure!  We had some pretty positive feedback and now are trying to start up an Etsy site.  That takes longer than you think when there are babies around...But sewing and selling things is definitely something we'd want to continue.  We need to figure out a marketing plan and stick to some key items that people really want.  Here's hoping it's up and running soon!

Carl took a Monday off to make a long weekend.  We went to HopCat for lunch (AWESOME restaurant in downtown GR.  Voted best french fries in the US and they have beer) with all the family (missed you Aubs! working is no fun).  Brian is starting to be more grabby and Elise is so nice to put up with it.  Brain fell asleep right before the food came. Best. Baby. Ever.  Charlotte got mad when the macaroni ran out.  :)

We were able to go on the last boat ride of the year.  Brian loved the snuggling with Grandma!  She is just so nice, Brian smiles every time he sees her.  We're working on it for Grandpa too so he doesn't feel left out.  :)

Brian has been working on some new tricks.  After our last Cardiology visit they said his heart and lungs look normal!  All his numbers were great, so we got discharged from cardiac services.  Woohoo! Once less doctor to see! Our lung doctor also had all good things to say about our little boy.  We are off oxygen for good but he insisted on it staying in our house through winter.  To ward off evil spirits he said, but really for a worst case scenario type situation.  We want to keep Brian out of the hospital, so if he does get sick he said he'd trust me to do oxygen, nebulizer, albuterol and feeding tube management at home.  Good thing I'm a nurse!

But more fun news, he's starting grabbing for more and more things.  He's pulling himself up, playing in the mirror and cruising around in his walker.  He is meeting more milestones!  Still not crawling but we'll get there.  I think he might just skip that step and go to walking.  Who knows.  But he is doing great and just the sweetest thing.  He is over 17 lbs and has 3 teeth!

And of course some of our family pictures.  :)

There ya go.  A month's worth of pictures in one post.   Overload, I know!
