Happy birthday baby boy!

Happy Birthday Brian!!

We made it a year, a whole year.  127 days of that year in the NICU, 247 days with a feeding tube and 324 days with oxygen.  But look how far we have come! Our little buddy is happy, healthy and smart as can be in his last tie picture.  

And now for picture overload! 

It's bad lighting, I know, but look how big he looks!  Little Elvis was once bigger than his head. 

Carl and I went and took these pictures.  Cleaned the wagon, found a corn field and saved a bunch of money!  We did a blue balloon for Brian and a pink one for Faye.   

We took about 200 pictures and these 3 are the best.  

These are from our cardiologist visit last week.  Brian was loving the crinkly paper on the table.  Good news here!  We're getting one more echo this week and if all looks ok, we are discharged from their service.  One less doctor, woohoo!  

We went out for dinner to this great place that does burgers on the boardwalk.  So fun and delicious.  Brian was the perfect little guy the whole time.  They even had a farmers market that we could go to after dinner.  

And SURPRISE!  My mom came to visit.  I had no idea she was coming until this annoying person kept ringing my doorbell.  It was my mom!! And then we both cried.  She's so nice.  Brian loves her. 

We took a family outing to Matthiessen State Park.  It's about an hour drive from our house and is just beautiful.  Brian laughed just about the whole time.  

There's your Birthday post.  We are driving to the lake this weekend to celebrate with my family.  Brian and Charlotte are going to be some cute birthday babies!!
