Marco Island {Part two}

We're home from our wonderful trip!  Laundry is done, baby's asleep and everything is put away.  Ahh...Now for a cup of tea and some super cute pictures.

Brian did so good where ever we went.  At restaurants he would just sit in his car seat and play with the buckles.  The kid LOVES buckles.  And for the plane ride home he slept almost the entire time as well.  Best baby ever we think.  We also had some amazing sunsets!  Beautiful weather every day.

We took a quick selfie while our kid just sat in the stroller, playing with the buckles.  :)  Carl says he is planning his escape.  I have no idea where he would want to go.

This kid loved his walker!  We rented one from a local place.  So nice, they dropped it off and picked it up!  He got really good at it throughout the week.  I think it helps him feel a bit more independent.  He's still tippy while sitting and not even close to crawling but does this no problem.

We went on a private shelling tour one morning.  The one big event we had planned for the trip.  It was wonderful to be out on the water! Nap time happened to fall right in the middle of it, so our sweet boy was extra cuddly.  He fell asleep on Carl while we were walking on an island!  I'm sad I wasn't able to get a picture.  So then he transferred to mom to finish his nap.  Brian loved being on the boat.  The tour guides said he was the best baby they've ever had.  No crying and sweet as can be.  We are so lucky.

We did a drive by of all the hotels/resorts.  Our condo is the building 3rd from the left.  It was perfect for us.  And this is what happens to my hair in 90 degree, humid weather.

We just love our little buddy!

We all played in the sand in the mornings after our walk.  Brian had no fear of digging in and getting dirty.  Typical boy!

Carl's the best dad.  He was teaching Brian how to peel shrimp.  Brian was a very attentive pupil.

And big news!!  Brian has started putting food to his mouth, all by himself!  This is a major milestone for our little preemie.  It is very common for premature babies to have an oral aversion (due to being intubated for so long and having tubes/hoses forced in their mouths all the time). Brian might have a mild case but he is definitely getting through it.  So the fact that he is bringing food to his mouth voluntarily makes us very happy.  Hopefully he'll start eating better and gain a bit more weight!

And of course - some videos!
